Major Release

MCP API — Full Public Launch

Pro plan feature

BrewLogica's Model Context Protocol (MCP) API is now publicly available for all Pro subscribers. Connect any MCP-compatible AI assistant — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any standard MCP client — to your BrewLogica data.

What's included

  • 19 MCP tools across 5 categories: Beans, Bags, Brews, AI Features, and Utilities
  • Remote MCP server at https://api.brewlogica.app/mcp — no local server installation required
  • Bearer token authentication — generate tokens at brewlogica.app/tokens
  • Support for multiple active API tokens per Pro account for separate AI clients
  • Rate limit: 60 requests/minute, 5,000 requests/day

AI Brew Parsing & Suggestions

Pro plan feature

Two new AI-powered MCP tools are now available:

  • parse_brew_text — converts natural language brew descriptions into structured data. Say "18g espresso, 36g out, 28 seconds, a touch sour" and the tool returns a fully structured brew record. Quota: 200 calls/month.
  • get_suggestions — returns AI-powered parameter suggestions based on your brew history for a given bean and method. Quota: 100 calls/month.

Expanded Documentation

New documentation pages published this month:

iOS App Updates

  • Improved brew timer with phase-specific guidance for all supported methods
  • Bean rest day tracking now surfaces on the main brew screen
  • Label scanning accuracy improvements for specialty roaster packaging
  • Performance improvements for large brew histories (1,000+ entries)

This is the first public changelog entry. Earlier release notes were distributed through the App Store update descriptions.
